This was a nightmare and my body is definitely going to take some time bouncing back, but I’ve never been so thrilled to inject myself. Emgality was able to see that I didn’t have a savings card registered and provided all the info I needed. It turned out CVS had somehow taken my savings card off of my account (or something along those lines). I cannot speak highly enough of everyone at the Emgality help center and savings card line. I want to forget again.įinal Update: I GOT MY EMGALITY!! 14 days late and only after lots of tears and frustration. I forgot what life was like before Emgality. There seems to be disconnect between Emgality and my CVS, and I’m running on fumes right now (day 3/6 steroid taper and still having pain plus I’m exhausted). Unfortunately I’m still without Emgality. Has anybody had this issue/something similar? I’m thinking of calling Emgality to see if there’s anything they can do.īrief update (hopefully not the last): thank you so much to everyone! I was in such a low spot when I posted and the help made me see some light set the end of the tunnel. I was supposed to do my Emgality on the 20th, I’ve been miserable the last six days, feelings-wise and migraine-wise. Even if it is, my doc won’t switch me until I see her in November. The prescription service for my insurance told me Aimovig is covered, but other things indicate differently (also when the customer service person was researching I swear he muttered “ Aimovig.that’s not covered either). My doctor submitted a prior authorization to no avail. I had my new insurance last month and my prescription was able to be filled, but this month it’s denied. I’ve been taking Emgality since December and it’s been life-changing. ![]() I’m a student and my school changed insurance providers from UHC to BCBS CareFirst. ![]() Posting mostly because I’m feeling pretty down and could use a sympathetic ear, I guess.
